The female character hand size in Skyrim was created in a deformed way. It wouldn’t be an issue if they were simply made smaller, but instead, the scale of the upper bones controlling the hands was reduced in the base skeleton. This affects weapon size and causes hand position misalignment in dual-hand animations.
I received so many inquiries about this issue that I decided to look into the root cause myself, and this mod is the solution I came up with.
Therefore, this mod restores the female hand size from the reduced ratio of 0.851680 back to 1, ensuring accurate hand positioning in animations that use both hands.
Users who have already adjusted their hand size through character customization or sculpting mods don’t necessarily need to install this mod, but if you want a more precise correction, you can still use it.
I Provides a modified version of the vanilla skeleton and a fixed version of the “XPMS Left Hand Skeleton Rotation Fix,” which resolves the issues in “XPMSSE”
Requirements
If you’re using skeleton editing mods such as Vera’s Female Skeleton or Racial Body Morphs, make sure to install Mu Skeleton Editor. This mod includes a Mu Skeleton Editor preset that ensures compatibility with all custom skeletons.
If you’re not using any skeleton editing mods, you don’t need to install it.
Incompatible
This mod adjusts weapon sizes based on smaller hands, so it should not be used together with the other mod.
